Benjamin Hendricks is the CEO and lead AI designer at HenCorp Design Studio, where he helps small businesses grow through modern, AI-powered design and creative systems. With a background defined by discipline, resilience, and a deep commitment to craft, Benjamin brings a unique blend of operational focus and creative problem-solving to every client engagement.

Military background and leadership foundation

Benjamin’s early professional path was shaped by service in the U.S. Navy, where his training included BUD/S Class 198. His military career was cut short after an IED injury in 2002, an event that became a turning point in his life and ultimately redirected his drive into creative work and entrepreneurship.

Creative recovery and early music journey

During recovery, Benjamin taught himself guitar—using music as both rehabilitation and a new form of expression. He went on to play with small bands in the Cleveland area while building a stable working life outside of music, including roles as a repo man and tow truck driver. That period strengthened his work ethic and reinforced a practical, results-first mindset that still defines how he approaches business today.

Discovering AI and building a new career

When the COVID era began, Benjamin started experimenting with emerging AI tools out of curiosity—initially using them to create music. As the technology advanced, he expanded into AI-assisted design, discovering that the same tools could dramatically accelerate creative workflows for branding, marketing, and digital content.

Over time, that experimentation became expertise. Benjamin developed a deep, hands-on command of AI design tools and production pipelines, learning how to combine human creative direction with AI-driven speed and iteration. Today, he is recognized for turning complex ideas into clear, high-quality creative outputs—fast.
